Hi, there. I’m Jesse—the founder of Empowering Learners.
I’m an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst® who specializes in making minor, effective changes to existing classroom and home routines to increase motivation, teach critical skills, and improve challenging behavior for students in a multitude of settings.
I earned my master's in Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from Auburn University in 2012—and, shortly after, earned my Board Certified Behavior Analyst® credential.
I’ve since had the incredible opportunity to work with people of all ability levels—providing personalized, easy-to-implement tools and techniques to help them thrive academically.
I’m particularly passionate about working with school administration, educators, staff, parents, and caregivers to teach effective behavior support strategies.
It’s my belief that, when the most influential people in a child's life are empowered to create and facilitate positive changes, lasting success is not only possible, but inevitable.

Diverse Experience That Makes a Difference
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® since 2012, our founder has worked in an array of settings and with children from all locations and walks of life. He was elected to the Utah Association for Behavior Analysts (UtABA) twice, built a successful ABA program for children with autism, and is tapped into an expanding network of BCBAs throughout the state of Utah.

We’ll be honest—if we’ve done our job well, you shouldn’t need us for long. Our goal is to teach educators how to problem-solve and develop interventions on their own (rather than simply serving up one-time solutions to a single problem)—which allows us to phase out our services quickly, setting teachers up for lasting independence and autonomy.
